CAMTRA is a nonprofit non-governmental organization that has as its mission get together with women with the intention of collaborating for their autonomy and awake them to the importance of their participation in building a fairer and more equal society. Our strategy is to develop our goals together with feminist organizations, women in the communities and young women; also with schools of female teacher’s formation and other organizations.

In 2008 CAMTRA was able to reach directly with our permanent projects at least 6504 people. Furthermore we reached people indirectly with the distribution of divulgation materials and roses, and also promoting other activities according to the different issues which CAMTRA fights for.

After a long path of work we are close to achieve the dream of having our own site. We received the finance to buy the HOUSE. Nevertheless we still need resources to buy equipments and structures, to adequate the new to our needs and to be able to maintain it.

In 2010 we will celebrated our 13th year of fighting for women’s rights and for a non sexist society. For the CAMTRA’s anniversary we will make a campaign with the intention of receiving enough resources to make the dream of a new HOUSE come true.
